The annual George Goodchild
Memorial Trophy competition was held on June 21 2008.
This popular event, organised by competition secretary John Branch, was well
supported and although the weather could have been better, everyone enjoyed
the day.
The winners were Charles Parvin, Alice Kent and Ted Kent. (pictured below
with George's grandson Mitch)
Joan Goodchild, pictured with John Branch and Bob Turner, was presented with a bouquet of flowers.
The weather was typical June although there were some bright spells!
