The Wooden Spoon Challenge competition between the ladies and men was held on Sunday 14 April. The men were handicapped by 2 shots per rink, giving the ladies a 14 shots start. Despite  wearing  garters and using other methods to put the men of their game, the ladies managed to win the challenge trophy by finishing second. The players enjoyed a faith tea after the game.
