Complaints Procedure
NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS: CONDUCT AND CLUB REPUTATION
It has been brought to the Committee’s attention that disparaging remarks have recently been made regarding the reputation of our Club. Following consultation with the County Disciplinary Officer (CDO) today, we have been advised that such actions may be subject to formal procedures under Bowls England Disciplinary Regulation 9.
The Committee’s priority is to ensure the Club remains a harmonious and safe environment for all. To support this:
- Complaints: Any formal grievances should be referred directly in writing to the Chair.
- Anonymous information is not acceptable as no action can be taken on hearsay.
- All matters will be considered in strict confidence
- Guidance: We will shortly be distributing the Bowls Yorkshire Short Guide to all members to clarify expectations of conduct.
